The artistic language of Armando Sodano is based on a strong expressionist component, which mediates and amplifies the ritual of the gesture drawn from the most fruitful instinctuality, an overpowering manifestation in the pictorial sign also present in some valuable watercolors.

The intense and continuous research in the various pictorial techniques, along roads towards an idealized nature conducting thread of the works, even in oils and mixed techniques, where the color and the contents themselves express this path becoming the real protagonists. The pictorial representation then passes from an interior appropriation to a direct gestural externalization, sweet and romantic in some scratching and nervous works in others.
